I am so excited to share this one with you guys because it has changed my life…seriously. When we moved into our new apartment I only had a full sized bed from home and Jared had a queen so we decided to take his mattress. Well his mattress was a hand me down from his mom and it was OLD. Not to mention uncomfortable. I looked around for a while at different mattress companies seeing what the plus and negatives were. Then I came across Big Fig Mattress, I was so excited because the reviews were amazing and it had a special quality others didn’t.
That special quality is it is a mattress made for “bigger figured” people. As you all know I am not small but especially Jared is not small and takes up the entire bed! Over time your mattress can start to sag in the center where you sleep every night, which if this has happened to you it is super frustrating and makes it hard to get comfortable. This mattress won’t do that! Also Jared and I are both always hot when we sleep and this mattress has cooling technology which was number 1!
I loved what Big Fig promoted and I love that their mattress has a 20 year warranty and you truly can not beat the support. So now that Jared and I have been sleeping on it for about a month…here is our take:
WE LOVE IT
We have both been sleeping like rocks and we both have lower back pain and we have seen a drastic pain decrease since we have been sleeping on the mattress. Also I can’t feel when Jared moves PRIASE!!!! We opted for the King Sized bed and I am SO happy we did. I literally don’t even know he is in the bed with me and that’s how I like it! Another plus is when he moves I can’t feel it. This was a must for us because he shifts all night and wakes me up so now I am getting much more restful sleep since I am not being woken up.
I will say this mattress is on the firmer side, which I was hesitant about at first. I like a super soft mattress BUT a soft mattress has barely any support and also is bad for your back. So I am so glad the mattress is firmer because it truly makes a difference!
Again, we didn’t go from sleeping on some fancy mattress to the Big Fig, BUT the quality and the bed itself is unbeatable. I am so happy we chose this one over all the rest because seriously from the bottom of my heart we love it. Also I know it is for a “bigger figure” but that doesn’t mean if you are smaller built you can’t sleep on it. It can totally be for everyone!
You spend 1/3 of your life sleeping so to me its worth the investment to have a good nights rest and be sleeping on something that is good quality!
