Friday Finds 11.16.18

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Happy Friday! Since we missed last week (thanks gift guides) I have a bunch of finds to share with you guys! I may have went on a shopping spree…but what else is new? I am so excited for Thanksgiving next week! Mostly because of a 2 1/2 day work week WOOHOO, also to eat my face off of course. If you haven’t watched my stories, I have some news! I am revamping my entire blog from the ground up! My one year blogging anniversary is coming up and I thought…hey lets have a makeover! This new blog is going to be easier to navigate, easier to shop, and of course…prettier. I am really working my butt off to complete it and I really hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! I should be finished with it in about 3 weeks or so! Okay enough chit chat…let’s get shopping!

Life Update:

My family, Jared, and I went to Morgantown last weekend for the football game…and let me tell you it was FREEZING. It wouldn’t have been so bad if it wasn’t for the wind chill…it was out of control. I got to see my two best friends, and even if it wasn’t for long it was worth it! It is really had living so far from your best friends. If any of you do that you understand! You always make it work but sometimes texts and calls just don’t do the trick.

Have you guys ever had something happen to you that makes you so excited that your head is spinning? but then it doesn’t work out and you are crushed? That happened to me last week…I cant go into too much detail but it HURTS. I know people say you should never get your hopes up before its set in stone, but I am a glass half full kinda gal so when it doesn’t work out you want to die. I am always ready for that next best thing in my life and recently I am really craving for it. I am in a “life is too short to be miserable” state…which everyone should be in. I take all of these opportunities and learn from them, didn’t make it on the team you wanted? Practice harder. Didn’t get into the college you wanted? Go to community for 2 years and try again. Didn’t get the job you wanted? Take the time to learn and apply again. As hard as it is to do these things, there is a place and time you are supposed to do things and sometimes we are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Keep pushing…good things are coming your way!

xx, Em
