Curvy Girls Guide to Lilly - Everything Emily Ann Blog

This has been my most requested blog post! This blog was a huge hit on my old blog but unfortunately they got deleted. Lilly has been bringing in a lot of new styles recently so now is a good time to do an updated post with some new styles I am really loving. There are my all time favorites which keep coming back and unfortunately a lot of my favorites styles have been discontinued. I’ll let you know what styles are awesome for us curvy gals and what styles to STAY AWAY from. Lilly’s sizing is all over the place so it is very hard to tell from online. I ALWAYS wear an XL in everything or a 16, I can wear a Large Popover or an XL. NO shorts fit me and NO pants besides Georgia Mays and Lorena Palazzo pants fit.

**UPDATE!!!! Lilly now carries XXL in the Popovers, Kristen , Luxletic Leggings, and the Ophelia!**

Dress Styles I Love

Winni Midi Dress

**Amina** (I somehow have no photos in an Amina so this is the best I got from a video!)

Dress Styles I Don’t Love

Here are some red flags to stay away from, spandex, number sized dresses, and shifts. Now this isn’t ALL the time, the Ophelia I love has spandex, the Harper Shift I love because its Terry, and some number sized dresses work. 9/10 times though its a NO.

**Adrianna Dress** – Too tight on the stomach and too short

**Sophie Dress**– this dress clings to EVERYTHING stomach, butt, arms, etc. Even when I was 40lbs lighter I didn’t like these dresses.

**Jane Shift**– This shift is an A Line shift but unfortunately there isn’t enough fabric around my hips and butt

**Katlynn Dress**– SO CUTE from the front, can’t zip the back

**Johana Cover-Up**– Such a cute dress, unfortunately it is swimsuit material and clings to everything

**Larissa Skirt Set**– I kinda tried this on as a joke because I knew it wouldn’t fit and also this was a 14…it does come in a 16 but this wasn’t even kinda close to fitting.

**Lissi Dress**– Unfortunately too tight and short on me!

**Kelby Shift**–This dress is a Rayon Spandex blend and again clings to everything 🙁 Is a great length though!

Tops I Love

**Kristen Top**– This top is a MUST. It’s the Kristen Dress but in a top!!

Swimsuits

**Isle Lattice One Piece**– This was a 14 because they didn’t have a 16 but I would definitely also get the 16!

**Lanai One Piece**– Wasn’t a huge fan, it accentuated m y stomach but again this was the 14 not the 16

Pants/Skorts (Slim Pickins)
