As I am sure you have seen all over Instagram and Facebook, tulip fields have been all over! I was on Facebook last week and I saw this beautiful tulip field in NJ called Holland Ridge Farms and I immediately said I NEED TO GO NOW!! Of course Jared already had plans and my dad also had plans…there goes my two photographers! Last weekend was the last weekend they were open so I just had to go! I came on my stories and was talking about it and a sweet followers Jame (@gracieperlphotography) reached out to me and said “hey girl! I’m going to be there Saturday and I’m a amateur photographer, I would love to take your photos” I was like “is this real life?? Hell yeah!!” I headed there on Saturday and the wind was about 50 mph and in all my years of getting my picture taken I can do rain, snow, too much sun, but wind just ruins photos.
So I get there and Jame was waiting for me and we instantly clicked, she was so fun and sweet and we said we would make the best of it! I was getting so discouraged at some points because the wind was so frustrating and without it the pictures would have been perfect. She was so encouraging the whole time telling me which angles were best, which tulips were best, and just keeping me going!
I left feeling defeated because I just wasted 2 hours of Jame’s time and these photos are going to be rough….well was I wrong.
I got home that night and she sent me an email with all the photos and I was BLOWN (punny) away….the whole time I thought I looked horrible and she somehow managed to get beautiful photos that I will cherish forever! It could not have been a more fate situation she was going to be there and could do these for me!
On to the outfits….we had to convince the security person to let me go get my changes of clothes LOL. I brought all my outfits in and literally changed in the middle of these tulip fields…sorry parents and children🤣 Everything I’m wearing is under $36 which is crazy.
