I embarked on a journey a couple weeks ago, I asked you all what your favorite sheets were on Instagram and WOW are you all dedicated to sheets. I have tried a few different sheets over the years and haven’t found any that I REALLY love. I know sheets can range price wise, and they can get VERY high. The poll deemed interesting…two sets were over $250 and one set was $50. Big difference, I decided to buy the top 3 most recommended sheets and put them to the test!
I know everyone is different and everyone likes different things but majority ruled on this one for sure!
The top 3 most recommended sheets were Brooklinen Lux Core, Boll & Branch Classic Hemmed, and Target Threshold Organic Cotton Sheets! Instead of just labeling top #1 #2 #3 I am breaking them down into categories because they all excelled in different areas!
Disclaimer….I washed each set twice before putting them on the bed but they each, from what I have heard, all get better with more and more washes! We slept on each set for 3 nights! Jared’s opinion also doesn’t really count because he could sleep on wood planks and think its comfortable. I have also tried the Amazon Milani sheets, they are a great option for a low price but they are VERY hot and don’t stay on the bed for me! ALSO self tanner does get on sheets but it washes right out.
The categories I ranked them are softness/crispness, thickness, temperature, how they stay on the bed, material, thread count (which doesn’t matter), price, and color.
Softness/Crispness:
#1 Brooklinen Lux Core– these were insanely soft after one wash, very silky feeling.
#2 Target Threshold Organic Sheets– these were a mix between crisp and soft. They were very comfortable!
#3 Boll & Branch Classic– I know from experience and my mom having them for years they get softer and softer with each wash! But out of the gate they ranked 3…again still soft but more on the crisp side.
Thickness:
#1 Boll & Branch Classic– These had the most luxurious thick feel. They were heavy and very expensive feeling (which they are lol)
#2 Target Threshold Organic Sheets– medium thickness, great quality feel.
#3 Brooklinen Lux Core– I was kind of disappointed in the thinness of these sheets when I pulled them out of the packaging but when on the bed you can’t tell and they feel amazing.
Temperature (coolest-hottest)
#1 Target Threshold Organic Sheets- These were the coolest sheets, so if you are a hot sleeper these are for you!
#2 Boll & Branch Classic– These were somewhere in the middle and my favorite in this category.
#3 Brooklinen Lux Core– These were very warm, I usually need an extra blanket on top of my duvet and didn’t need that with these! Even though these were on the warmer side I think they are great for summer because these and a light blanket or quilt would be perfect!
How they stay on the bed:
#1 Target Threshold Organic Sheets– These are THE. best for a deep or thick mattress, they have an extra band in the corners that really grip the corners and don’t slide off. 18in depth
#2 Boll & Branch Classic- These are also great for a thick mattress, hold on tight and don’t move! 17in depth
#3 Brooklinen Lux Core– They are also good for a thick mattress but aren’t as deep as the other 2, but did not come off the bed once! 15in depth

Thread Count: (not ranked, I worked in bedding and when it comes down to it thread count doesn’t really mean anything)

In MY opinion my favorite are the Brooklinen, they are SO soft and I really love the feeling on them on the bed!
